‘Invitation’ is Yellow Claw’s new single featuring Yade Lauren. After topping the Dutch Top 40 charts with multiple singles, Yellow Claw was ready to cross the border. Shortly after they released their first international single ‘Shotgun’ followed by ‘Till It Hurts’. These two singles alone have more than 185 million streams on Spotify and YouTube and definitely put Yellow Claw on the map in the international music scene. On this track Yellow Claw is accompanied by the 17-year old Yade Lauren. Yade’s talent is simply undeniable and it’s amazing that her only prior musical experience has been teaching herself how to play the guitar and the piano.

Yellow Claw

Yellow Claw is a DJ duo, consisting of Jim Aasgier (Jim Taihuttu) and Nizzle (Nils Rondhuis), from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. They made their name by hosting parties at the Jimmy Woo club in Amsterdam. What started as a successful concept at the night club, turned out to be one of the most surprisingly refreshing DJ projects. Their music is a mix of wide range of genres and often incorporates elements from trap music, hip hop, dubstep, hardstyle and moombahton. Last year the DJ duo released their album ‘Blood For Mercy’ and this album came in at # 1 in the US Billboard Charts (Dance / Electronic Albums).

 

Yade Lauren

Countless bedroom artists dream of being discovered online. Many upload a string of videos in an effort to make their dreams come true. For Yade Lauren, it only took one simple mobile phone video to land her a collaboration with the internationally popular DJ crew Yellow Claw. Shortly after her sister uploaded it to Facebook, a clip of the then 16-year-old went viral. A lack of experience didn’t keep her from featuring on Yellow Claw’s new single ‘Invitation’. Yade Lauren is currently at work on her debut solo release.
