TAI & Scott Storch release new banger: ‘Brick Wall’

German DJ/producer, TAI collaborates with legendary hip-hop producer, Scott Storch on a monstrous electro-house tune. The beginning of the track feels like something you might hear in a video game, as it incorporates a ‘techy’ sound, but then immediately transitions into a high-energy buildup and drop. The remainder of the collab keeps a steady, energetic vibe as well. It’s a successful blend of classic electronic music with the newer ‘big room’ sound. TAI and Storch share a similar story, as they are both very well known in the world of hip-hop production, but have recently found their way into the EDM scene. Therefore, it only makes sense that they would eventually cross paths and create a dance music tune together. ‘Brick Wall’ is being released just in time for festival season so you can expect to hear it in DJ sets throughout the summer!
Most known for his collaborations with the likes of Diplo (‘Booty Drop’), Steve Aoki (‘Paradise Poltergeist’), Bloody Beetroots and Bart B More (‘Spank’), and an EP entitled ‘Just Smile’ on Dim Mak, TAI has really made a name for himself over the last few years. The success hasn’t ceased in 2015. He released an original on Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike’s Smash The House Records, and his recent collaboration with Watermät premiered on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 and reached over 1 million plays on Soundcloud. It’s safe to say it’s been a good 2015 so far for the German native.
Scott Storch, whom you may know from productions such as Dr. Dre’s ‘Still Dre’, Fat Joe’s ‘Lean Back’, and Justin Timberlake’s ‘Cry Me a River’, switched gears in 2014 after coming back from a 5-year hiatus. Even though he did not officially release a song in 2014, his preview of ‘The Calvary’ with Steven Lee created a lot of hype back in the fall. However, we have good news for you… this will be Storch’s first full release to launch the start of his EDM career. We predict a successful year for this legendary producer.
