Bass music’s blazing breakout act Ephwurd – comprised of Datsik and his longtime cohort Bais Haus – continues their onslaught of innovative releases this week by dropping a new music video for “Duckface” as well as a remix of Oliver Heldens and Shaun Frank’s “Shades of Grey (feat. Delaney Jane).”

“Duckface” is the duo’s first solo original work, and its music video follows duck puppets straight from Muppets creator Jim Henson’s Studio on a hilarious nightclub escapade as Canadian rapper DKAY vocals instruct revelers to “Snapchat that fat ass, don’tSnapchat no duckface.” Since releasing on Friday, the video has already racked up nearly 300K views.

Today Ephwurd unveiled their future bass remix of Oliver Heldens and Shaun Frank’s Beatport #1 hit “Shades of Grey (feat. Delaney Jane).” Out on Spinnin’ Records, Ephwurd’s rework is one of three on the Beatport exclusive remix package alongside The Golden Boy and Nora En Pure.

Ephwurd first blasted onto the scene in July as an anonymous new artist with their remix of Major Lazer’s “Lean On” alongside ETC!ETC! A week later they revealed their identity as Datsik and Bais Haus, and premiered their first original work in partnership with bass-bending star Jauz titled “Rock The Party.” Quickly becoming the song of the summer, “Rock The Party” received plaudits from Skrillex, Diplo, Axwell & Ingrosso, Alesso, Afrojack and Hardwell amongst others.

The tandem will play their debut live performance next month at Escape on October 31 in San Bernardino.
