The Flying Dutch festival line up is announced! 10 of the world’s biggest Dutch DJs on 1 festival at the 30th of May 2015, in Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Rotterdam.
Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Fedde Le Grand, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Oliver Heldens, Showtek, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, W&W and Yellow Claw. The world’s best Dutch DJs come together on the 30th of May for the first edition of the open air dance festival ‘The Flying Dutch’ that takes place at 3 different locations at the same time: the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam, Strijp-S in Eindhoven and Ahoy Buiten in Rotterdam. All 10 DJs will be flown by helicopter from city to city enabling them to perform for all three crowds. The Flying Dutch on May 30 can accommodate up to 100,000 visitors divided between the 3 cities.
It’s the first time that all these Dutch talents come together on one day to perform at three locations. With 11 hours of performances, granting every DJ a one-hour set per location, The Flying Dutch is a celebration of, for and with our EDM heroes and a big ‘thank you’ to the loyalty of all the fans. Between 10 and 11 pm Armin van Buuren will be closing at the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam, whilst Hardwell will do the same at Strijp-S in Eindhoven and at the outdoor area of Ahoy Rotterdam Afrojack will be the closing act.

The Flying Dutch is an initiative of John Ewbank and ALDA Events, two major brands in the music industry, who join forces in House of Orange. With The Flying Dutch they build a platform that provides opportunities and inspiration for new and established artists and the public. By collaborating with Dutch and foreign brands, with seasoned as well as upcoming creatives, new opportunities arise.
John Ewbank: “The Netherlands has world class DJs who travel the world all year round, therefore we are thrilled that we have been able to realize this unique line up. It will be the first time that all these DJs are performing at the same festival. A great way to thank their home crowd for the support they’ve been given all these years.”
Allan Harderberg, director ALDA Events: “At The Flying Dutch 10 Dutch DJs show that the Netherlands have become a world player. ALDA always works from the heart of the artist. This feeling and this emotion are translated into our events. On May 30, together with these DJs, we turn The Netherlands into one large dance floor! “
ING is presenting partner of The Flying Dutch.
Joyce Hulst, manager marketing: “These 10 DJs are the living proof of the success that talent and perseverance can bring. They make their dreams come true and are one of the biggest export products of our country. By acting as presenting Partner of The Flying Dutch we make this unique dance event accessible to a wide audience, because these Dutch talents inspire us and show how you can make your dreams come true. And ING would like to share that with everyone.”
