Biggest outdoor trancefestival of Europe expands
The biggest outdoor trancefestival of Europe ‘Electronic Family’ spreads its wings. Next year the event will become a multi-day event in Den Bosch called ‘Electronic Family: The Gathering’. In addition to that the trance family will be travelling the world with clubtours, in- & outdoor events & multi-day festivals. This has been announced during the sixth edition at Amsterdamse Bos.
The kick-off of the international direction began earlier this month in Tallinn (Estonia), where the best DJ’s within the trance-world gave visitors a great time. This year it will be extended even further with several in- & outdoor events and clubtours all over the world, which will be taking place in Europe and several cities in Asia. In the Netherlands the festival will move from Amsterdam to Den Bosch.
Allan Hardenberg, CEO ALDA (organizer Electronic Family) explains: “Afer six successful editions Electronic Family will be leaving the well-known Amsterdamse Bos. We made the choice because we’re going to expand it to a multi-day variety with which we’re realizing a long-cherished ambition. The terrain of Autotron in Den Bosch is perfect with amongst others a camping and a bungalowpark.’’.
With 13.000 visitors as eye-witnesses the multi-day event was announced in a spectacular way. At the end of the show MC Emma Hewitt invited the trancers to join Electronic Family through the official website, which should be growing out to a tight trance community. The Trance-family will be involved in deciding the content of Electronic Family and will be the very first to get news updates.

The sixth edition of Electronic Family was once again a huge success. Around 13.000 visitors enjoyed the trance-spectacle with 4 stages where icons like Andrew Rayel, Cosmic Gate, Ferry Corsten presents Gouryella & Markus Schulz performed.
