Defqon.1 Weekend Festival will span across four days for the first time

After having to postpone the festival twice due to the pandemic, Defqon.1 will return stronger than ever with the addition of a fourth day to the 2022 event. The Dutch hardstyle festival remains the biggest globally, welcoming a record-breaking 78.000 guests to their seventeenth edition in 2019, and will undoubtedly delight fans with an exciting comeback on June 23rd-26th after a two-year absence.

For the first time, Defqon.1 Weekend Festival will take place from Thursday through to Sunday, setting the stage for a legendary journey that includes a record number of artists, specials, and shows. The global festival brand will present a state-of-the-art production complete with pyrotechnics, fireworks, CO2, lasers, and the best of the harder styles.

“After many years in the making, we’re very excited to announce the extension of Defqon.1. This new chapter allows us to offer more unique experiences to our fan community and continually grow and develop the Defqon.1 experience”, says Sander Bijlstra, Managing Director, Q-dance.

To celebrate this news, they’ve decided to amp up the madness by also adding an extra day to Defqon.1 at Home 2021. As a result, Defqon.1 at Home takes place from Thursday, June 24th until Sunday, June 27th.

The all-new Friday Tickets will go on sale on July 24th, as well as the remaining Sunday Tickets. Weekend and Saturday Tickets are sold out, but a limited amount of returned tickets might become available again due to refunds.
