Kris Kross Amsterdam breaks records with ‘SEX’
100.000.000 streams on Spotify
The track ‘SEX’, a collaboration between the DJ trio Kris Kross Amsterdam and the American band Cheat Codes (LA) is breaking records. The song has reached the magical boundary of 100.000.000(!) streams on Spotify. Additionally, ‘SEX’ is ranked in multiple national and international hit-charts. In Germany, Denmark, Austria and Finland the track is in the national Spotify Top10, in Sweden it’s platinum and in Norway gold. Beyond the European boundaries the song is also doing well, in the USA the track is currently at #11 of the American Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Charts.
After the guys received a platinum record for the tune last month, the success continues. ‘SEX’ has been streamed over 100.000.000 times online via Spotify. Around the globe ‘SEX’ doesn’t go unnoticed, the song was in the Top 10 of the Global Spotify Charts and has been watched over 10.000.000 times on YouTube.
It’s the first time ever that the DJ Trio has reached such a huge amount of streams. The guys from Kris Kross Amsterdam made a deal with Cheat Codes to have a sex tattoo when they would reach 100.000.0000 streams.

Brothers Jordy and Sander Huisman founded Kris Kross Amsterdam in 2011. After years of playing as a DJ duo they decided to throw a party where they could play their favorite music under the name Kris Kross. It turned out to be a success and they started getting loads of bookings under the name Kris Kross. In the summer of 2014 MC Yuki Kempees joined Kris Kross Amsterdam & the trio was complete. Kris Kross Amsterdam is known for the allround sound & interaction with the crowd. The track ‘Until the Morning’ which was released at 29th June 2015 by Spinnin’ Records scored over 1 million plays which got them the 4th spot at the global viral graph.
