DJ’s of The Flying Dutch learn how to fly

Today Fedde Le Grand & Oliver Heldens went into the air for a helicopterlesson. After theory-class the DJ’s could control the helicopter for 30 minutes (with instructor next to them). The flying lesson took place at Ryfas Helicopters in Hilversum. The Dutch Dj’s are preparing themselves with this lesson for the first edition of the sold-out The Flying Dutch. During this event which takes place on the 30th May 2015, the 10 best Dutch DJ’s worldwide are being flown by helicopter from city to city to perform on three different locations.

Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Fedde Le Grand, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Oliver Heldens, Showtek, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, W&W en Yellow Claw. World’s best Dutch DJ’s unite at the 30th May during the first edition of the open air dance festival The Flying Dutch which take place on three different locations at the same time:  in the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam, in Ahoy Buiten in Rotterdam en at Strijp-S in Eindhoven. The festival was sold out within one week.

All 10 DJ’s will be transported by helicopters between 12:00 & 23:00 from city to city to perform for a different audience. The Flying Dutch has a capacity of 100.000 visitors divided over the three locations. The event is an initiative by John Ewback and ALDA Events, 2 big brands in the music business, who bring together their strength under the name House of Orange & is being organized in cooperation with ING as presenting partner.
